Executive Partner

Bruce Crain is an operating executive and consultant with broad branded- and licensed-consumer products and multi-channel distribution experience within public and private companies.  He has been President and CEO of public and private companies and currently provides board, consulting and due diligence support to private equity and family office sponsors, where he advises on consumer oriented and eCommerce investments, organizational development, and strategic growth opportunities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Comvest Partners portfolio company Renovation Brands.  He also served on the Board of Comvest portfolio companies RugsUSA and BEL USA.  Mr. Crain is also on the Investment Committee of Sesame Street Workshop and serves on the Board of Directors of Sifter, Inc. and Quoizel, LLC.

Previously Mr. Crain was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, CEO, President, and Board member of the juvenile products businesses of Russ Berrie, Inc. (NYSE:RUS) and Kid Brands, Inc. (NYSE:KID), and Group President of the multi-channel home décor company Blyth, Inc. (NYSE:BTH), among other executive and Board roles.

He has extensive leadership experience managing founder-led businesses and multi divisional corporations that have been formed through industry roll-ups and integrations.  Mr. Crain was also previously Chairman of private equity owned KidKraft, Inc. and was the CFO of private equity backed Home Innovations, Inc., which licensed and launched Calvin Klein Home.  Earlier in his career Mr. Crain was in the investment management and artificial intelligence industries.

Mr. Crain has a B.A. in Economics and Government from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and an M.B.A. from Stanford University in California.

Mr. Crain resides in New York City and Connecticut with his wife and their son.
