David is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Consumer & Retail. He is responsible for originating, structuring and managing investments in the consumer and retail sector as well as in other industries of focus for the direct lending and opportunistic credit strategies.

Prior to joining Manulife | Comvest Credit Partners (formerly Comvest Credit Partners), David was a Director at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on originating and managing credit investments for the firm’s Private Credit business. He was a founding member of Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group, the predecessor direct lending platform focused on sponsored and non-sponsored middle-market financing transactions. Before that, he held originations, underwriting and portfolio management roles at Twin Brook Capital Partners, GE Global Sponsor Finance, Heller Financial and LaSalle Bank.

David received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
