Dean is an Associate and is responsible for underwriting and closing new investments, as well as managing existing portfolio investments, across all industries for Comvest Credit Partners, Comvest’s direct lending strategy, and Comvest’s special opportunities strategy.

Prior to joining Comvest, Dean was an Investment Professional at the investment firm Upper90, where he focused on sourcing, underwriting, and executing private credit and equity investments in early and growth stage companies. Before that, he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions group at Bank of Montreal, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, as well as equity and debt financings.

Dean received a B.A. in Economics from Colby College.
