J.J. is a Vice President and is responsible for underwriting, originating, structuring and managing investments across all industries.

Prior to joining Manulife | Comvest Credit Partners (formerly Comvest Credit Partners), J.J. was a Vice President at Serengeti Asset Management, a value-driven investment firm, where he focused on evaluating and executing growth, credit and special situations investments. Before that, he was a Senior Associate at Touchdown Ventures, a venture capital firm, where he focused on growth stage property technology and consumer companies. Prior to that, J.J. was an Associate at Jasper Ridge Partners, a private investment firm, where he focused on private equity investments. He also previously founded a digital media startup. J.J. began his career as a multi-asset class investor at Goldman Sachs.

J.J. received an M.B.A from Columbia Business School and a Master of International Affairs, with a concentration in international security policy, from the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. He earned a B.B.A. in Finance, with honors, from the University of Notre Dame.
