His family foundation, The Michael and Annie Falk Foundation, focuses on improving the lives of children and preserving the environment through high-impact environmental, advocacy, and animal conservation initiatives. These include sponsorship of the Environmental Exposomics Laboratory at Duke University, partnerships with various organizations focused on youth arts, cultural education and leadership development, and support of nonprofits involved in providing environmental emergency relief and promoting carbon neutrality.
